Rules for Token-Based Quorum Voting
and Proposals in the WeedoVerse DAO

Token Requirements: To be eligible to vote, each individual must hold at least 1 $TIDOL token in their wallet. Each $TIDOL token represents 1 vote.

Quorum Requirement: A valid vote must have a quorum of at least 5,000 $TIDOL tokens. If the total number of tokens represented in a vote does not reach this threshold, the vote will be considered invalid.

Decision Threshold: To pass a vote, a proposal must receive more “FOR” votes than “AGAINST” votes, considering only the votes cast specifically for or against the proposal (excluding abstentions). If the proposal fails to meet this criterion, it will be considered rejected.

Voting Platform: The voting process will take place on the Snapshot platform, known for its free system. Votes will be applied by the management team, GAME3 Studios, who will be relected every 3 years.

Treasury Management: The treasury will be held in a multisig wallet that requires the signatures of the 5 GAME3 Studios Founders to unlock payments voted by the community.

Proposal Duration: Each proposal will remain open for a period of 7 days, during which token holders can cast their votes. After the 7-day period, the proposal will be closed, and the results will be determined.

Proposal Communication: All proposals will be automatically uploaded to the WeedoVerse Discord server and the Voting website page at https://weedoverse.com/vote. This ensures transparency and accessibility to all token holders.

Proposal Creation: Any token holder with at least 100 $TIDOL tokens can create a proposal. If a member holds less than 100 tokens but wishes to make a proposal, they need to request an Author Pass on Discord or through email, providing the proposal details.

Co-Founders’ Token Ownership: Each WeedoVerse co-founder owns a maximum of 3% of the total supply of $TIDOL tokens. At the early stage, multiple votes may occur without co-founders’ participation to allow the community to have a say in token distribution or sales.

Community Discussion: Before a proposal is put up for a vote, it must be discussed on the WeedoVerse Discord server with the community. The proposal creator should engage with community members and answer any questions or concerns they have. Greater community support increases the chances of a proposal being approved.

GAME3 Studios Act

The majority of the proposals start in the forum or on Discord. They’re later put up for voting on Snapshot. The WeedoVerse DAO’s constitution will be the first proposal to be voted on. This constitution served to control the suggested decisions and provide parameters for the proposals.

For the proposals to move on to execution, a quorum of only 1% is required. This is a relatively low number by voting norms, implying that only a few delegates are necessary to move proposals ahead, allowing us to start at an earlier stage.

There are three types of proposals that can be launched in this DAO include the following:
